The Africa Film Academy have called for entries for 2017 edition of the prestigious Africa Movie Academy Awards
With the success of the last 12 edition , the 13th edition promises to be bigger and better to honour the contribution of African filmmakers, actors and directors in film industry.
According to the organizer, this year application which will come to an end on January 30th, 2017 must be accompanied with five (5) DVD copies of the entry, at least 2 production stills and a signed copy of the online .submission form
At the 2016 edition, multi-award winning actor Daniel.K.Daniel , took home the award for Best Actor in Leading Role for Soldiers Story while EFERE OZAKO
went home as the winner in Best Short Film
Olu and Joke Silva alongside Richard Mofe Damijo and Tony Akposhore wrapped up the event with a prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.
The last edition was held in June 2016 at Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
