The one-day programme by renowned photographer Emmanuel Oyeleke which holds on June 23 is in partnership with Ace Makeup artist Bimpe Onakoya will teach and demonstrate practical techniques to achieving crisp, professional pictures for use across diverse media, with live demos and Practical hands on sessions. Watch The Trailer Of “North East” Movie By Muyiwa Aluko.



“North East” tells the story of an Igbo Christian physiotherapist who embarks on a romantic relationship with one of his patients, who is a Hausa Muslim, only to face vehement opposition on the basis of religion and tribe from her father.
The movie features OC Ukeje, Ini Dima-Okojie, Gbenga Titiloye, Carol King, Saeed Funky Mallam, filmmaker Belinda Yanda Agedah, Tope Sadiq, Alex Ayalogu, and Capital F.E.M.I
“North East” is a Watts Camera Action Production and was Written, Produced and Directed by Muyiwa Aluko.
The movie is set to start showing in cinemas nationwide from the 24th of June, 2016.

Share Inspiring Story About Your Marriage Journey In Ololufe Competition




Eligibility requirements

1) Any married couple from any part of the world may enter the competition.
2) The couple should provide the following latest by August 1st 2016:
a) Two pictures i.e. a wedding picture and another current picture of the couple.
b) Inspiring stories about the couple’s relationship so far. 

In addition to the requirements listed above, the couple may also decide to make a less than 5 minute video about themselves if they wish. However, please take note that it is NOT mandatory and you will not be penalized if you do not send a video.

Competition procedure

1) All entries must be sent via email to ololufeblog@gmail.com by August 1st .
2) The nominees will be selected by a panel of jury and they will be announced on the website by September 1st.
3) The stories about the journeys in the marriages of the selected nominees will be posted by September 1st for the public to vote for the most inspiring story. The winner is subject to the vote of the public.The participants may provide their friends, families and fans with the website link through social media to vote for them.
4) Voting will start on September 1st to end on October 2.
5) The winner (couple) will be announced on October 3 and will receive an award of 1,000 US dollars.

Abuja To Host The 6th Edition of African Achievers Awards On The 8th of July


The African Achievers Awards is currently in it's 6th edition. The first edition held in 2011 at kings’ College, London where Archbishop Desmond Tutu was honoured. AAA has consistently rewarded and honoured great African Achievers from African Leaders, Young Achievers, to captains of Industries across the continent such as the late former President of Ghana, John Evans Atta-Mills, Asha-Rose Mtengeti Migiro etc. The journey has seen the award ceremony move from, London (hosted in Kings College & Waldorf Hilton) to Kenya to Ghana to South Africa and now lands Nigeria.
