The Youth Entrepreneurship Support (YES) programme is an ambitious programme by the Bank of Industry (BOI) aimed at addressing youth unemployment in Nigeria which is currently over 50%. According to a 2013 survey by the Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER), most of the capacity building programmes aimed at addressing youth unemployment, have concentrated more on training without any tie-in to the provision of small business loans, which is a critical success factor to the establishment of small businesses. In addition, they hardly take care of the entire training value chain in terms of Entrepreneurship, Business Management and Technical Skills.

“Sunflower”, by Kunmi Ogunsola, is a story about the relationship between a father and daughter. We see a young 25-year-old Ayomide (Danielle Rockson) who is struck with the news of her father, Bode’s (Dennis Gerald) sudden death. The whole situation is particularly difficult because Ayomide and her dad (Bode) had become estranged after a series of conflicts between them over the years. We then follow Ayomide over the course of a few days to see how she struggles to deal with her father’s loss and her unresolved issues with him.

This film is a commentary on the influence of positive affirmation and effective communication between parents and their children.

Grafton Entertainment Is set To Host New Comedy Edition Tagged, ‘Prince Hezekiah, The Funny King"

Grafton Entertainment is set to host the sequel edition tagged, ‘Prince Hezekiah, The Funny King - 2nd Impression’ come July 30, 2016.

he maiden edition saw the likes of I Go Dye, Gordons, Chigurl, Mc Abbey, Igos, Arinze Baba, Dan De Humourous and artistes such as KCee, Cynthia Morgan, Mr. 2Kay, Duncan Mighty and others. It was the first sold out concert in the city, as series of other events registered low turnouts last year.

Led by Nigerian and Port Harcourt born comedian, Prince Hezekiah, this year’s edition promises a more exciting and breathtaking show. Commenting on the coming event, the elated comedian, who is managed by Grafton Entertainment said, “The second impression of Funny King will be one of the best events in Nigeria this year as there will be loads of surprises. I am not only going to have a comedy concert, I will also be showing a little preview of my forthcoming comedy series titled, Tales Of The Funny King.”
