Ghanaian filmmaker Yvonne Nelson’s production company has released new teaser posters for her upcoming TV series “Heels and Sneakers”. 

The series features Nelson, Nigerian actress Tana Adelana, as well as known Ghanaian actors including Kweku Elliot and Jose Tolbert. 

The new series by YN Productions features a host of fresh talent including Jason El-Agha, Gifty Adrah,Mahalia Bamford, Fritz Johnson Solomon Owoo, Andrea Owusu, Matilda Owusu, Cyril Sackeyfio and Regina Van-Helve.Popular Ghanaian singer Pappy Kojo also plays a role in the series.

Flash Drive is the story is about a flash drive containing all the log-in details to the account of a dead politician that was acquired by a banker who wanted to sell the information to his rogue friends but they ended up killing themselves simply because of greed over the flash drive.

"Lasgidi Cops: Special Crimes Unit" To Premiere June 4

The first of it's kind crime and investigation series has been given a première date by its producers as the pilot is set to air on Africa Magic channel 151 on Saturday June 4, 2016 at 7pm.

"Lasgidi Cops: Special Crimes Unit" is a crime series based on Lagos State starring Joke Silva, Femi Branch, Keppy Ekpeyong, Bimbo Akintola, Wole Ojo, Adesua Etomi, Kehinde Bankole, Kelechi Udegbe, Olumide Oworu and many others.

The upcoming show centres around a serious cabal planning dastardly acts of crime to take over Lagos to cause chaos to their financial advantage,  and this forces the Governor to set up a Special Crimes Unit to address the assault. 

The Commissioner of Police is not happy about this, and the cabal too. In the midst of all ‎this is an investigative crime reporter Asake Jones, who wants to be the first to let the public know the true events transpiring in the crime underworld. The show centres on how their paths all cross and who succeeds.  

"Lasgidi Cops: Special Crimes Unit" was produced by Asake Productions and was directed by OLA.

"Scorned" is story of a rape victim who took her time to plan her revenge against a rapist who completely forgot about the damage he had done to an innocent young girl. It showcases the psychological damage she went through, and the effects the rape had on her even as an adult.

The movie also focuses on how silence out of fear or shame can sometimes make or break an individual.
